Beatrix LeBeau is the protagonist of Slime Rancher, and is the new owner of The Ranch, which was formerly owned by Hobson before he left it to rot.
Not much is known about her, but she's described as a "plucky, young rancher". Monomi Park intended to expand her backstory in the 0.5.0 update, but it was instead added in the 0.5.1 update. You learn her lore through Starmail, mostly by Casey's letters to her; One of these pieces of her backstory include that she had a shop, as said in the letter My pet cactus, of which was sent by Casey.
