The Elder Hen is a female chicken. Unlike her younger counterpart, the elder hen cannot lay eggs. Elder Hens rarely ever appear in the wild, and only result from captivity.

Since they cannot produce more of their kin, it is better to just straight up feed them to carnivorous Slimes.
